ENAVE at the Genoa International Boat Show 2025: Training, Innovation, and Networking
Once again this year, ENAVE renewed its presence at the Genoa International Boat Show, an unmissable and established event for all professionals in the nautical sector. For us, participating in the Boat Show is not only an opportunity to meet clients, partners, and stakeholders, but also a fundamental moment for updates, discussion, and growth.
Internal Training Meeting: Staying Updated and Building Team Spirit
As per tradition, during the Boat Show we organized our internal training meeting with the ENAVE network of operational technicians. This is a valuable moment to share company news, regulatory and operational updates, and to strengthen the bonds within our team. We firmly believe that direct exchange and sharing experiences are key to offering increasingly qualified services and responding promptly to market challenges.
Conference “AI in Nautics: Responsibilities, Tools, and Strategies”
In the afternoon, we had the pleasure of hosting the training conference “AI in Nautics: Responsibilities, Tools, and Strategies”, which saw the participation of numerous professionals from the nautical sector and beyond. A special thanks goes to the speakers who shared their expertise and vision with the audience:
- Eng. Giuseppe Macolino (ENAVE): Introduction
- Eng. Vincenzo Dario Barbaro (NAVIREGO): “AI, big data and machine learning for naval design and survey”
- Dr. Claudio Arlandini (CINECA): “The services of the national AI Factory IT4LIA for industry”
- Dr. Luca Turconi (OTTOZEROUNO): “AI and Generative AI: information, knowledge, value”
- Dr. Nicola Xella (Porsche): “Scenarios and proposals for future marketing: AI focused on the customer”
- Eng. Alessandro Suardi (ENAVE): “Development of regulatory processes: opportunities for the future”
The active participation and interest from the audience confirmed how relevant and timely the topic of artificial intelligence is, even in the nautical world.
Artificial intelligence can bring tangible and cross-cutting benefits to the nautical sector, both in regulatory and operational fields. For notified bodies like ENAVE, AI is a valuable tool to speed up technical assessments, interpret complex documents, classify components according to regulations, and identify critical issues already in the preliminary phase.
For manufacturers, importers, and distributors, AI is also a valuable ally for navigating complex regulations, managing technical documentation, and improving product quality while reducing time and costs.
Awards and Recognition: Pride and Collaboration
During the Boat Show, we were also pleased to witness important awards given to organizations with whom ENAVE actively collaborates:
- The Liguria International Award was presented to Gene.Sys by P2M , with whom ENAVE shares projects and visions in the field of innovation and certification.
- The Design Innovation Award in the category Motorboats up to 14 m LH was awarded to the New Pardo 43 by Cantiere del Pardo S.p.A., recognized for its undeniable balance between elegance and sportiness, achieved with the highest construction quality. ENAVE certified this boat and has been collaborating for years with Cantiere del Pardo in the certification of their units, helping to ensure high standards of safety and compliance.

The Importance of Being There
Being present at events like the Genoa International Boat Show is essential for meeting new players in the sector, forging new partnerships, and strengthening relationships with clients and stakeholders. Direct interaction, sharing ideas, and building a solid network are key elements for successfully facing the challenges of an ever-evolving sector.
